It took us a minute but we finally caught up with the Director of Student and Community Affairs, Denitria Neil to find out her "Why"
She was looking at a piece of art that arrived from Westcoast.

To support these custom education plans, each student has personalized learning labs and academic support from teachers and tutors from the community.

Meet Ms. Mitchell
Ms. Mitchell is one of our founding second grade teacher. Ms. Mitchell has been in early childhood education for going on 6 years and has worked with students for tutoring in all subjects ranging from ages 5-8.
Favorite quote: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” -Benjamin Franklin
Educational Philosophy: I believe, constructivism is a student centered philosophy that emphasizes hands on learning and students actively participating in lessons. Most students do not respond to sit down and learn. Students thrive off of actively involved lessons.
We are delighted to have Ms. Mitchell on our team!
A little afternoon cuteness from Ms. Mitchell’s room.
