PADUCAH MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL TRYOUTS

July 15th at Sheppards field. Open to all incoming 5th-8th grade students.
All players must have a current physical.
Players must bring a glove, their own helmet and wear pants appropriate for softball.

Paducah Middle School Softball tryouts will take place at PTHS Softball field on Monday, 7/17 & Tuesday, 7/18 from 6PM-8:30PM for rising 5th-8th graders. Girls must wear pants and a t-shirt. Girls must bring their own glove and helmet. Students must have an updated KHSAA physical to participate.

Mikey Myers has been named Softball Head Coach at Paducah Tilghman High School.

Myers, a PTHS alum, has coached the Paducah Middle softball team for ten years and has also coached several travel teams from the Nashville area. His daughter, Mallory, played softball for Paducah Tilghman and plays college softball at Georgetown.

“I love the game of softball, and I enjoy watching our kids grow in this sport,” said Coach Myers. “Most of the students on the team came through the middle school program so I know them, and they know me. I’m looking forward to helping the PTHS softball team get better and compete.”

Paducah Middle School will have a 2nd softball tryout for all incoming 5th - 8th grade girls on Thursday July 14th at 7:00pm at Shepperd's field (high school field). All players MUST HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL or they WILL NOT be able to participate. All players MUST wear pants, bring a glove and plenty of water. Hope to see you there! PMS Softball tryouts will be held on Thursday July 22, 2021 @ 6pm at PTHS softball field. Remember, on time is late!!
If it rains or the heat index is too high, we will hold tryouts on Monday July 26, 2021 @ 6pm. All players MUST bring a current physical to participate. DO NOT FORGET IT.
All players must wear pants and short sleeve shirts (no tank tops). Players will need to bring the following :
1. Appropriate shoes
2. Appropriate glove. It must be big enough to field a 12" softball.
3. Plenty of water
4. Your own helmet.
