Pothole Patching Caravan to Work along Interstate 24 in McCracken County This Afternoon
Crew to be on the road from Noon to about 3 p.m.
PADUCAH, Ky. (Feb. 20, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a pothole patching operation along Interstate 24 in McCracken County this afternoon.
A mobile work zone caravan will be working along I-24 between the I-24 Ohio River Bridge at mile point 0.0 and the 17 mile marker near the McCracken-Marshall County Line from 12 Noon to about 3 p.m.
This pothole patching crew will start on the westbound lanes at Paducah Exit 11 and work westward to the I-24 Ohio River Bridge, then work along the eastbound lanes from the bridge to the 17 mile marker near the U.S. 68 Reidland Exit 16 Interchange. The work caravan will then turn and work along the westbound lanes back to Exit 11.
This work caravan will generally move traffic to the left-hand or passing lane to allow work mainly along the driving lane. There are some potholes that may require the crew to work in the same spot for an extended period.
Motorists should be alert for trucks with arrow boards directing traffic to shift lanes to facilitate the work. Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this mobile work caravan.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

The cost of this reunion will be a mere $25.00 per person ($50.00 per couple) if received by 7/25/16. After that date the price will increase to $30 per person ($60 per couple) this will cover all expenses for the Saturday evening event.

All payments must be received by 8/15/16 so that catering arrangements can be finalized.
