A HUGE thank you to the amazing team at Blended Barber and Beauty--DeeAnn, Olivia, Heather, Trevor, and Trett! They gave 32 RIS/RMS students haircuts today. The Blended Family is such an asset to our community and we are so thankful for the confidence they gave our students in just a few short hours!

🚀 Preparing Students for College, Careers & Life Beyond the Classroom! 🚀

We are excited to offer our students the Paxton Patterson College & Career Ready Labs—an innovative, hands-on learning experience designed to help students discover their interests, build real-world skills, and begin thinking about their futures!

🔧 What makes the CCR Labs so exciting?

Students don’t just sit and listen—they DO! Through hands-on, career-focused activities, students get opportunities to:

✨ Explore different career pathways and industries
✨ Learn through real-world, project-based experiences
✨ Develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
✨ Practice communication, collaboration, and teamwork
✨ Work with tools, technology, and equipment
✨ Discover personal strengths, interests, and talents
✨ Connect what they are learning in school to potential careers
✨ Build confidence and independence
✨ Learn skills that can transfer directly into future education, training, the workplace, and life

The CCR Labs give students a chance to try things out, make decisions, solve problems, learn from mistakes, and see what they enjoy—all while developing skills that will serve them long after they leave our classrooms.

🎓 Whether a student dreams of attending college, entering a technical program, joining the workforce, starting a business, or simply figuring out what path is right for them, career exploration starts with opportunity.

We are proud to provide our students with experiences that allow them to explore, learn, build life skills, and get excited about their future!

The future is waiting, and our students are getting a chance to build it with their own hands! 🛠️💡🚀

Each week at Reidland Middle School, students have an opportunity to earn raffle tickets for their positive behavior. Students are able to turn in their tickets to be entered into a weekly raffle drawing for rewards. The more tickets a student earns, the higher their chance is to be recognized for their outstanding contributions!

We would also like to shout out our partners at A-Maize-ing Farms for donating ten tickets for FREE ADMISSION as options for student rewards this week!

Congratulations to our September 25 winners!
