Heads up! 🔔 The frame shop will be closed tomorrow, Thursday Oct 8. We’re taking our youngest to Vanderbilt, and unlike other closure days we will likely not be available by phone or email tomorrow.

But we are here today, and our half off sale on readymades is in full swing! We’ve got the walls stocked and we’re ready to make some magic happen.

Happy Friday, folks! 🖼️ Let a framer off the leash and see what she comes up with 👀 This week we took a post card one of our clients gifted us and made an example out of it!

You’re looking at three layered mats that have been raised with hidden supports to create a sense of depth and emphasize the intricate cuts we made with our handy dandy Wizard.

It serves as a reminder that you don’t have to stick with a standard mat. There are so many creative routes to add personality to your order! Check in with our framing team sometime to learn more about what we can do for you.

Sticking with the theme of “go check out that art!” Our second showcase today is on this beautiful leather piece done by Rook Works for the upcoming Gayllery show at Etcetera Coffeehouse.

This will be a fabulous show celebrating q***r artists, so don’t miss out! And a special thank you to the artist Greg for trusting the process and letting us experiment with how best to sew his artwork in place. We’re used to hiding the thread, not putting it out there for the world to see! 😅

Happy Frame Shop Friday, Paducah! 📸 We’re catching up on overdue Friday showcases and have TWO for you today. Here’s the first!

Have you stopped by the Yeiser Art Center lately? Their annual Art Through The Lens show is up, where you’ll see fabulous photography on display like this one from local artist Caleb Buford Creative.

The Yeiser has seen some stellar updates lately. If you haven’t paid them a visit in awhile this is a great opportunity to check things out! The show will be up through October 10th.

Hi friends! We’re sorry about building up last week’s Frame Shop Friday post and then missing it. Truth is, serious illness has knocked on our door again. It’s not just the baby this time- this downtown framing gal is down with pneumonia.

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, and for the several closures lately. I promise we’ll be back open as soon as it’s safe and we’re able! Fingers crossed that means tomorrow, but I just don’t know. We’ll keep you in the loop as we go.

Happy Frame Shop Friday, Paducah! 🖼️ 🥳 We’ve had some really fabulous orders come in since we reopened in July, and I’ve been itching to share this one with you!

As many of you know, preservation framing is very important to this shop and we avoid using adhesives when at all possible. We also love a good challenge! 💪 So when our client Caleb described his vision and the props he wanted to include in his certificate shadowbox, we were psyched.

The only item in this shadowbox mounted with adhesive is the foam ball- the crayon box, the figure, and the sharpie were all hand sewn discreetly into the matboard. Literally each crayon is held into place with a piece of thread! Cuckoo, determined, detail oriented? Maybe a little of all three.

Big thanks to Caleb Buford Creative for trusting us with such a fun project, and having the creativity to pair these items in the first place! 🎨
