I have really enjoyed this one. This week’s special!

Cuban Bread - hearty loaf made to handle any sandwich fixings you can muster! - $6 per round

Hand crafted Mozzarella cheese - get this salted, but otherwise plain in the whey (this gallon made about 12.5oz) so you have more creative freedom at home for $7. Or I can split the mozz and cover it in an herbed oil for $8.

Edit: of course I like to test everything I make and adjust before I produce a final product. This was me using the bread and cheese to make a sandwich to only showcase some potential 🙂 just eye of round roasted with red onions and cherry tomatoes, topped ridiculously with all of the cheese, and some fig jam and coarse brown mustard. I would definitely have thrown some greens on if I had them!
I just don’t want anyone to think they would be getting this cartoonishly large sandwich as the final product.😅

Hello everyone! I have ice cream at the ready and the bars are finishing up! I will see everyone at the Paducah flood wall at 6pm to distribute the confections! WARNING: this is soft serve ice cream, meaning it is highly susceptible to warmer temperatures. It might be best to bring a cooler or pack of your own so it will keep on the way home. See you then!

Howdy folks! Just wanted to add that I made quite the stock of red pepper jelly and I know I cannot eat ALL of it. So get yourself a can to share! I also have a few cans of vanilla sugar available from the vanilla beans we dried and blended. Great to add to coffee, teas, or replace regular sugar in your own baking. And I lastly have THREE 50mL droppers with homemade vanilla extract (been extracting since 2024 I believe?) available if you really want to up your own baking game!

Red pepper jelly - $4/per half pint
Vanilla sugar - $3/per 4oz jar
Vanilla extract - $8/ per 50mL dropper

P.S. the photo on the right is a pear cider vinegar being made from our harvest. Should be ready in a couple months. I will test for pH and make sure it’s around the 3% margin come time🙂

I will have photos tomorrow with more detail, but this weeks confections will be lemon strawberry bars and blueberry ice cream 🙂 I might look into more savory items on the next go. Maybe some cheeses and hearty bread? Any feedback is always appreciated!
