Exciting News! Both the Pekin High School Band and High School Choir received the IHSMA Distinguished Academic Achievement Award for the 2025-2026 school year! This means that both ensembles received an average GPA of 3.25 or higher. Go Panthers!

Mark your calendars for Pekin High School band camp on August 25th and 26th! All band students in 9th-12th grade should plan to attend!

We have our first home football game on Friday, August 28th, so we will spend most of band camp preparing the Fight Song, National Anthem, and a few pieces for the sidelines and halftime. We will spend some time outside during band camp, so please wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothes.

The Pekin Marching Panthers are bringing the party to the football field this season with their 2026 halftime show, "Mr. Worldwide!" Featuring the high-energy music of Pitbull, this year's show includes the crowd-favorite songs Fireball, Timber, and Time of Our Lives!

Congratulations to the Pekin High School Band and Choir for an amazing performance at the IHSMA Large Group Contest! Both Band and Choir earned a Division II (Excellent) rating for their performances!

At Large Group Contest, Ensembles are rated on a scale of Division I to Division V. The ratings mean the following:
- Division I: Superior performance
- Division II: Excellent performance
- Division III: Good Performance
- Division IV: Fair Performance
- Division V: Poor Performance
