Then, from 12-3, it's a monster mash for all ages! Don't be a ghost, score those discounted tix now... or, you know, wait till Oct 18th and pay full price... just kidding, don't be that person! We need some ghoulish volunteers to make this party howl! Sign up for a 1-2 hour shift and get ready for a spook-tacular time!

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month - September 15th thru October 15th - at Cabrillo!!!

Stop by and check out the Hispanic Heritage display board across from the MPR. We are celebrating and honoring Dolores Huerta who co-founded the United Farm Workers and was a civil rights and labor activist. Students in the 4th grade class wrote about her life and accomplishments. She continues her civic advocacy and community development work through her foundation and lives in Bakersfield, CA. She was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her lifetime of advocacy on behalf of the underserved farm workers and immigrants. Stroll by and check it out!

Each month there will be a different theme for the board. If you and your student would like to sign up to help design or put up the display, check out the themes for each month!
Thank you to the McCabe Teachers and the 4th Grade Class for all their hard work and essays.

Si se puede! Yes we can!
