1951. The initial foundations for the elementary school are in the foreground. Artichoke fields are filling what became Linda Mar all the way down to the beach. The one house being built is now the veterinary clinic on the corner of Seville and Linda Mar Blvd.

Happy Alumni Christmas and New Year!

Andy Travis called a few minutes ago to let us know that his mom, our beloved Jill Travis, has died. As nephew, Drake, put it, "Auntie Jill just let go of Andy's hand and grabbed hold of Ted's."

She has been friend, teacher, counselor, and coach to so many of us, and her devotion to God and to her family and to her students characterized her life.

We grieve with the family.

And we celebrate that her illness is over and her great love for our Lord and Savior is fulfilled like never before! It has always been a pleasure to see "Mrs.T" worshiping the Lord and it must be amazing to be with her now!

Please continue to hold Andy and Ivan and the extended family in your prayers. We will post information as we can about a memorial.

Please pray for JIll Travis and her family, especially Andy. Her health is failing, and she has been placed in hospice. Her decades of service at our school will never be forgotten.
