At our school, we want your child to be enthusiastic about learning and discovering, while he/she learns social skills and develops their own sense of self. Our goal is to keep your child safe and happy, in a warm and nurturing environment so that your child may become independent and grow not only academically, but also socially, physically and emotionally. Our curriculum is designed to foster in

dependence and confidence, while engaging children in fun and carefully planned educational activities. Science, Reading and Mathematics will always be an integral part of all our themed lesson plans, as will learning by doing. Learning by doing creates more neural networks in the brain and through the use of the body; children grasp concepts and practice what they have learned. With qualified, caring teachers and small group size we believe we have the ability to give your child the attention they deserve. Language enhances a child’s ability and potential and gives him/her the advantage for future opportunities. At La Casita Preschool Pacifica we provide possibilities for children to learn Spanish by incorporating the language throughout their daily lessons and activities. Lastly, we want to go beyond your expectations and have you know that La Casita is an extension of your home. We are interested in helping you in any way possible, we believe that Preschool is an important milestone in your child’s early learning and are ready to help. We hope to have a strong parent community and believe that our school will be enriched by the contributions of the families that are enrolled. Hello neighbors, I wanted to get the word out about La Casita Preschool’s Afternoon Classes for Kindergarten and TK students.
One thing we picked up on while speaking to local families is the need for afternoon care for their children. La Casita Preschool Pacifica now offers afternoon classes for kids that need a place to go when school lets out. We wanted to let everyone know that we currently have spaces available for any Kindergarten or TK students that need afternoon care.
The classes run from 12:30pm to 5pm, Monday through Friday. We have 4- and 5-day options available with a special afternoon rate. A lunch option is also available for those who need it, and we also include a snack for all afternoon students.
Our afternoon classes will include skill-building and homework help, outdoor exploration and playtime, yoga and mindfulness sessions, as well as gardening and food preparation lessons.
