🌊 A summer of ocean wonder begins here in the heart of Pacifica🌊

Our Marine Life Summer Camp invites children ages 2.5–6 to explore sea animals, coastal habitats, outdoor learning, field trips, picnics, and bilingual Montessori discovery in English and Mandarin-Chinese.

Weekly Camp: June 22 – August 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM, aftercare 1:30AM - 5:30 PM available upon request

Weekly Tuition: $900
Early Bird: $200-off of tuition when registered before June 12, 2026

Early childhood should nurture not only what a child learns, but who a child becomes. Honored that Neo Immersion Montessori School has been selected by the San Mateo County Office of Education as a 2026 SCRS Challenge Standout Leader for our Montessori Learning Garden and Food Nutrition Program.

Proud to be the only bilingual Montessori school in San Mateo County selected as an early childhood award winner for this initiative. Thank you to County Superintendent, Marco Chávez and Julie Hilborn, Director of Environmental Literacy & Sustainability for recognizing the heart of our work.

At NIMS, our garden is a living classroom where children learn sustainability, nutrition, culture, and care — in both English and Chinese. As we prepare to rebuild our new learning garden at the Linda Mar Learning Center, opening in 2027, we continue planting seeds of wellness, identity, bilingual learning, and belonging.

Because the future begins early.
And sometimes, it begins in a garden.

We are feeling incredibly grateful.

Thank you to the San Mateo County Office of Education for awarding Neo Immersion Montessori as a Sustainable and Climate Resilient School (SCRS) Challenge Standout Leader for our Food Culture & Garden Learning Program (2025–26).

This recognition is rooted in our deep belief that even our youngest children can learn to care for themselves, for one another, and for the Earth. Through our bilingual Montessori approach, children experience this each day — growing, preparing, and connecting with food and nature in both English and Chinese-Mandarin.

We hold so much appreciation for our children, families, and community who make this journey so meaningful. This recognition belongs to all of you!

At Neo Immersion Montessori School, one of the most meaningful parts of the day is the Montessori work cycle.

The work cycle is an uninterrupted block of time, typically around two to three hours, where students are free to choose their work, follow their curiosity, and fully engage in the learning process. During this time, children move at their own pace, selecting materials that meet them where they are developmentally while also challenging them to grow.

Rather than being guided by constant transitions or interruptions, students are given the space to concentrate deeply. This uninterrupted focus allows them to build independence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine love of learning. You’ll often see children repeat activities, collaborate with peers, and experience the satisfaction of completing meaningful work from beginning to end.

Teachers serve as guides during the work cycle, observing, supporting, and introducing new lessons when a child is ready. It’s a thoughtful balance of structure and freedom that empowers students to take ownership of their education.

The result is more than academic growth. It’s confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Join us for our Post-Easter Egg Hunt… because let’s be honest, one round of fun just isn’t enough.

This Saturday, April 11th from 10AM–1PM, come out for a day packed with treats, community, ice cream, food truck, and plenty of Easter eggs to go around.

📍Dog Park at 1008 Carolan Avenue, Burlingame, CA 94010

Hosted by Anson Apartments Burlingame, in partnership with Neo Immersion Montessori School and Red Sauce Meatballs food truck serving up the Italian goods. Open to all, so bring your friends, your family, and your sweet tooth.
