Mission Valley Warriors The Mission Valley Warriors are a combination of Boxing, and Native American language and dancing. Focused on teaching the youth and enhancing lives.

MISSION
Our boxing program is open to both male and females of all ages. Developing a group of skilled trainers, and boxing officials certified by the National Golden Gloves Boxing Federation. Through a coordinated process of advancement this program will develop individual athletic skills, work ethic, discipline, sportsmanship, self-respect and pride. Se

condary goal
In seeking to fulfill its mission, the Mission Valley Boxing Team seeks to train individual athletes to be competitive boxers throughout the United States and in a National Tournament of Champions each year. Taught by Ken Camel. Our Aerial Art program is taught by Miss Raven Summer and encompasses, Aerial Silks, Aerial Sling and Aerial Hoop (Lyra). Our Native American Dancing is taught by Miss Naomi Billedeaux.

The night Marvin Camel was robbed of his International Boxing Federation cruiserweight championship title. Marvin was fighting to defend his title in Billings Montana against the number one ranked contender Leroy Murphy of Chicago Illinois. Marvin was 35 years old and Leroy Murphy was 22 years old. Many thought that it was going to be a challenge. Murphy thought he was going to knock Marvin out in the third round. The match was one of resilience and personal courage. The third round came and went. Then in the 6th round Murphy connected with a hard right hand and dropped Marvin for a quick knock down. Marvin got up quickly and knew that he had to keep moving. He went to his boxing skills by moving and jabbing from long range. Round by round Marvin found his range and built up a lead on the judges score cards. The people in attendance were witnesses to Marvin being able to defend his International Boxing Federation cruiserweight championship title. Then the ugly side of professional boxing showed power. The referee had called the ring doctor to check out the facial cuts Marvin had received when he was dropped in the 6th round. Marvin's boxing skills he learnt over his 34 professional fights had him ahead at the end of the 14th round. Then to the amazement to all in attendance "The referee decided to stop the fight during the rest period between the 14th and 15th round. The referee "Didn't consult the ring physician" and stopped the world title match and declared Marvin was not fit to continue. Murphy was declared the winner. Too this day Marvin believed that the referee who from Anaconda Montana was "Paid off" by the manager who had mob connections from the manager who was a billionaire from Chicago. I was standing at ringside watching my brother get robbed. I decided to get certified as a professional boxing referee so that this thing could not happen when I am officiating a world boxing championship title match.
