📣 WE’RE HIRING: Parent Educator 👶💛🏡

Keystone Parents as Teachers is looking for a caring, dependable, and self-motivated Parent Educator to serve families in USD 377 and USD 409.

⏰ 30 hours per week
💵 Starting pay: $18.00/hour
🏡 Home-based/remote position with travel throughout the service area

As a Parent Educator, you’ll work directly with families of young children through home visits, helping parents support their child’s learning, development, and well-being. You’ll also connect families with community resources, complete developmental screenings, facilitate family activities, and build relationships within the communities you serve.

We’re looking for someone who is:
💛 Empathetic, encouraging, and nonjudgmental
🤝 Comfortable building relationships with families from all backgrounds
📋 Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
🗣️ A strong communicator
🌱 Passionate about supporting young children and their families

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma/GED and at least two years of supervised experience working with young children and/or parents. A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, social work, child development, family studies, psychology, health, or a related field is preferred.

This position requires reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to accommodate family visits, which may include some evening and occasional weekend hours. Mileage is reimbursed according to agency policy.
