🎶 National Arts in Education Week 🎶

This week, we’re celebrating the important role the arts play in helping students learn and express themselves. Today, we’re proud to spotlight Mr. Isom & our D.A. Smith Middle School Band! 🎺🥁

Our band students are building teamwork and a lifelong appreciation for music—one note at a time. We’re proud of them!

We are now entering our final week to get instruments. We have had rental opportunities on August 8 and 11, along with continued reminders and communication. A Late Instrument Rental Form was also sent home last week to help families who still need to secure an instrument.

If your child still needs an instrument, please make arrangements as soon as possible this week so they can be ready to learn and play with their classmates.

If your family is experiencing financial difficulties, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me using the contact information on the Late Instrument Rental Form. I am happy to talk with you about available options and see how we can help.

Thank you so much for your support and for helping us get our young musicians ready to play!

There are so many benefits to renting an instrument. We’re especially grateful to have an Art’s Music Dothan representative available weekly to help with repairs, questions, and keeping our students playing!
