The Dale County Board of Education honored the 2026 2A State Champion Baseball team from Ariton High School by formal Resolution at the July 14 Board Meeting. Congratulations Coaches and Players!

At tonights Special Called Board Meeting the board approved Mr. Drew Miller as the new Principal of George W. Long High School. Mr. Miller is no stranger to the Skipperville community - he has previously served LHS as a successful teacher, state champion baseball coach, and dedicated assistant principal. The Dale County Schools family is excited about the future of LHS under Mr. Miller’s leadership! Congratulations Mr. Miller!!
