MTA Ozark Martial Arts at the OC

MTA Ozark Martial Arts at the OC MTA Ozark Martial Arts offers classes at the OC for ages 4 and up. We teach kids self-defense, courtesy, self-control, and much more.

The adults will learn self defense, increase flexibility, increase stamina, and is a great workout overall for all ages. Come try a FREE class today. Little Dragons are for 4, 5, 6 year olds. We work on coordination, stranger awareness, self-defense, self-control, and much more. We also offer classes for ages 7 and up. Families are welcome to workout together. For the kids this is great for self-d

efense, self-control, coordination, flexibility, and more. For the adults, you will learn self-defense, increase stamina, conditioning, and overall a great way to workout. Classes are offered on:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays
Little Dragons at 5:30 PM,
White/Yellow at 6:00 PM,
Green/Blue at 6:45 PM
Red and Above at 7:30 PM. Fridays
White through Blue at 6 pm.

You may hear that today, September 4, is International Taekwondo Day. This reference the day Taekwondo was introduced into the Olympics. However two other dates could also be Taekwondo day.

On April 11, 1955, the name “Taekwondo” was formally introduced through the efforts of General Choi Hong Hi and those around him who sought to establish a distinct identity for the Korean martial art.

On March 30, 2018, Taekwondo was granted legal recognition in the Republic of Korea as the nation’s “Kukki,” or national martial art. The word “Kukki” carries the same fundamental meaning as the “Kukki” in Kukkiwon.

Which date truly deserves to represent Taekwondo Day?

September 4, commemorating Taekwondo's recognition as an Olympic sport?

April 11, commemorating the birth of the name “Taekwondo”?

Or March 30, commemorating Taekwondo's legal recognition as Korea's national martial art?

Why not all three? 🙂
