We had so much fun celebrating our 4th graders who are headed to middle school next year! We had lots of giggles, pink cheeks, and tears from moms, dads, siblings and even some furry friends sent some notes of love, encouragement and pride! Good luck next year 4th grade Southies!

All activities (excluding the pool) will be FREE to all South families!

Last call Southies! Tomorrow is the final day of teacher appreciation week and we have had some fun spoiling them! We have one final gift to close out the week tomorrow! If you haven’t gotten to show your appreciation to your teachers yet - you still have time! Don’t forget students to make up a fun dance for your teachers!

Thank you again to all our Southie families for helping with things like Boosterthon that make showing how much we love our teachers possible!

Today we kick off Teacher Appreciation Week where it’s all about showing some love to our Rockstar teachers!!!

Don’t forget to send in a picture of your kiddo with their teacher or having them draw their teacher a picture! 🥰

Hey Southies! Monday is the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week and we definitely think our teachers (and staff too!) were BORN TO ROCK!!!

We have a fun Rock n’ Roll themed week ahead of to celebrate our amazing South team but we invite you to join in on the fun! Feel free to use our prompts or come up with your own way to celebrate our teachers and staff! Either way - we sure appreciate all the Rockstars on our team and can’t wait to spoil them next week!

We had a special delivery at South today! The woodshop class and the AG department at Ozark High School helped PTA put together a little free library for all students and the community to enjoy. While on campus several high school students were able to reminisce in the hallways by visiting Miss Thomas’ new 3-D printer, checking in with some first grade teachers and reminiscing about funny field day stories with the kindergarten team. We are so appreciative for the partnership of different schools in the district and seeing these high school students come back to their homebase! Special thanks to Mrs. Karanja and her family for helping drive this collaboration! The PTA will work with the maintenance department to get this installed quickly and help encourage fun summer reading and maybe even a few surprises hidden in between those books!

This is yet another example of your boosterthon dollars hard at work! Thank you for all of our Southie families for helping put this together and look for it to be installed soon!

If you missed the announcement at our last PTA meeting, we are ending the year with a bang! We have rented out the Ozark Community Center and the event is free to all South Families!

We will have inflatables, games, rock wall, open gym, etc.!
