Thanks to an America 250 grant 8th grade students at OJHS have been studying the definition of the word declaration. We then took a closer look at America’s own Declaration of Independence. We are putting the learning into practice by creating our own declaration using art.

Today Mr. McBee’s 8th grade Science students completed a Deformation Lab. Students were testing how much an object deformed as more force was applied. They measured styrofoam and wood before they applied force, then measure as they went up a newton from to see how much the objects deformed as the force increased. Tomorrow they will work on graphing their results! Great job kiddos!
