We were honored to hear from Carroll High School Boys State Representative Logan Leslie and Makynzye Bonner, a member of the AHSAA District 2 Student Leadership Team. Both students shared valuable insights about their experiences and the leadership opportunities they have gained through their respective programs.
We also welcomed Ms. Winnie Frazier, who provided information about the upcoming Juneteenth Celebration in downtown Ozark on June 18, highlighting the importance of this community event.
The Board approved several personnel recommendations and contract agreements as part of the evening’s business.
The meeting concluded with exciting news for our employees. The Ozark City Board of Education has approved the state pay raise for all OCS employees. This increase will take effect at the beginning of each employee’s scheduled pay period and reflects the Board’s continued appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and commitment our employees demonstrate every day in serving our students and school community.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to making Ozark City Schools a great place to learn, work, and grow!

Our administrators were very excited to attend the tour of the Home of Army Aviation at Fort Rucker today. They learned so much about Fort Rucker and the many opportunities and resources it offers. They even had the unique opportunity to tour the area aboard a Black Hawk helicopter.
Thank you again for the opportunity to collaborate and connect with one another today. We truly appreciate the partnership and look forward to future opportunities to work together.
