, 🥁 🎹 Heyday Summer Band Camp: That's a wrap! 🎸 🎤

​Friday marked the final day of Heyday Summer Band Camp, and what an incredible week of music-making it was! Our campers poured their hearts into every rehearsal and we couldn't be any more proud of them!

​We closed out camp with a live performance for our families, giving everyone a chance to see all the hard work from this week.

​📢 A huge shout-out to our incredible instructor, Kaleb Meche, for his hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication to our students. Thank you for bringing so much energy and love to this program!

Day ONE and TWO of Summer Band Camp at Heyday Music Studios is officially in the books, and these musicians brought the energy and came ready to rock! 🥁 🎤 🎸 🎹

These campers are learning a lot and having a blast doing it, thanks to our incredible, passionate, and multi-talented instructor, Kaleb M! We're so proud of how hard these musicians are working and can't wait to see how everything comes together for the end-of-camp showcase!

Today we celebrate all the dads, grandpas, stepdads and father figures who encourage, support, teach, and inspire us every day!
A special shoutout to the dads who:
🎵 Carried the tuba
🎻 Sat through endless practice sessions
🥁 Became the family chauffeur for lessons, rehearsals, and concerts
🎺 Said, "Turn it down!" at least 1,000 times
🎸And somehow remained their child's biggest fan through it all
Thank you for the rides, the encouragement, the patience, and the memories made through music and family.
May your coffee stay hot, your lawn stripes stay straight, and your kids remember that Father's Day is today and not tomorrow!

The countdown is on! Our first Heyday Music Studios Summer Band Camp (Ages 9–12) kicks off June 22, and spots are still available—but not for long!

Students will spend the week learning what it's like to be part of a band, building musical skills, making new friends, and camp ends with a live performance for family right here at Heyday!

🎤 Summer Vocal Ensemble Camp (Ages 12–18)
Students will jump into a world of a capella learning harmonies and ensemble singing. On May 1st, students will get to show their skills with a performance at Ozark Market Days!

🎤🎸 Summer just got even bigger at Heyday!

We're excited to announce we've added a Summer Vocal Ensemble Camp to our lineup this July, and it looks incredible.

Here's what's happening this summer:
🎸 Summer Band Camp (June 22-26) | Ages 9-12 | $125
🎸 Summer Band Camp (July) | Ages 13-Adults | $125
🎤 Vocal Ensemble Camp (July 27-31) | Ages 12-18 | $100
Band Camp sessions are 9:00am-10:30am. Vocal Ensemble Camp is 1-2:30
Band Camp students spend the week learning to play together as a band, wrapping up with a live performance right here at Heyday. Vocal Camp students dive into a ca****la, harmonies, and ensemble singing. and THEIR performance happens at Ozark Market Days on August 1st. How cool is that?

There's nothing quite like the moment a group of musicians locks in together for the first time. We want your kid to have that moment this summer.
Heyday Summer Band Camp is running TWO sessions this year, and spots are still available:
June 22-26 | Ages 9-12
July 27-31 | Ages 13 and up (yes, adults too)
Monday through Friday, 9am-10:30am each day. The week wraps with a live performance right here at Heyday so the people who matter most get a front row seat.
Open to current students in piano, voice, guitar, or drums. Just 10 spots per session at $125.

Heyday's Summer Band Camps are OPEN for enrollment, and spots are going fast.
June Camp (ages 9-12) | June 22-26
July Camp (ages 13+) | July 27-31
Both camps run Monday through Friday, 9am-10:30am, and wrap up with a LIVE performance for family and friends. Your kid (or you) will spend the week learning what it actually feels like to play in a band, not just practice alone in a room.
Open to current Heyday students enrolled in piano, voice, guitar, or drums. Only 10 spots per session. $125.

Heyday family, we have some big and exciting news to share with you.

As of May 1st, 2026, Heyday Music has been acquired by Ernie Williamson Music, a Springfield-based music company with more than 90 years of history and seven locations across Missouri and Kansas. We could not be more thrilled about this next chapter.

We know change can feel unsettling, so let us say this first: the things you love about Heyday are not going anywhere.

The Heyday name stays. Your teachers stay (and they are genuinely excited about this). The vibe, the community, the care we put into every lesson... all of it stays. What IS changing? The studio is getting brand new equipment this week, and our students will soon have even more resources, more opportunities, and more support behind them.

From Nate and Sarah: "When we thought about who should take Heyday forward, we needed someone who truly understood what we built here and why it matters. Donovan and the Ernie Williamson Music team are exactly that. We will be sticking around through this transition because we are invested in seeing this go well for every teacher and every student at Heyday. We love this community, and we believe the best days are still ahead."

Misty Kristek, VP of Education at Ernie Williamson Music, will be overseeing the Ozark location and is already looking forward to getting to know each of you.
