For all you guys considering becoming a NCTE at LSU officer her is a few details of each position. Remember you have till midnight Sunday, November the 16th, to apply.
President: First person of contact to other organizations and volunteering opportunities. Directly speaks with the club sponsor.
Vice President: Organizes meeting with the president. They also help the president find guests for the meetings.
Public Relations: Communicates to the public information about the club. Announces meetings and other events through, Facebook, flyers, public speaking, and other means. In other words, the official advertisers of the club.
Secretary: Communicates information about events and activities to club members and officers.
We hope this helps and we cant wait to hear from you!

ELECTION TIME! NCTE at LSU will be hosting our elections for officers of 2015 through email. Our officer positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, and 2 Public Relations (PR). If you would like to run for a position as officer please email us at [email protected] stating your name, a short 2–3 sentence statement on your leadership qualities, expected contributions, the position you are running for, and you vision for NCTE@LSU 2015. You have now until Sunday at midnight, November 16th, to send your application. Monday morning a ballot including candidate's name and statements to all members so they may vote. Many people are interested however a few positions are still completely open. We cant wait to welcome our new officers so send those applications!!

We are excited for the meeting this Wednesday, October 22nd, with Destiny Cooper, hosting a Dialogue on Race. I think I'm speaking for most when I say it is a life changing experience. The meeting is tomorrow at 6:30 pm in Allen 129. You don't want to miss this one!
