Oxnard nonprofit gifts refurbished car from youth program at event

This video is part of OUr Story, a series celebrating the inspiring journeys of Oxnard Union students and staff making an impact in their schools and community. Meet Marcjorie Vargas-Mayo, a Channel Islands High School student whose passion for healthcare and helping others shines in everything she does. Through the CTE Patient Care Pathway, Marcjorie has spent three years gaining hands-on experience in medicine, from serving as a Student Manager at Westminster Free Clinic to leading as Treasurer of HOSA–Future Health Professionals. She even completed a HOPE Internship at Ventura County Medical Center, working alongside healthcare professionals and peers from across the county. 🩺 Marcjorie’s next goal? To study Nursing and become a Labor & Delivery Nurse 👶
