Can you believe we’ve had an entire week of summer vacation already?
Whether it’s summer vacation, thanksgiving break, Christmas break, or spring break, the faculty at Linda Vista are always thinking of their students. Here’s some tips to make the most of your summer.
Create a “loose” schedule: Avoid the “summer slump” by keeping a flexible daily routine. Wake up around the same time and dedicate a small chunk of the day to productivity before playing.
Catch up on sleep, eat well, and stay active.
Recharge: Don’t forget to completely disconnect from academic pressures. Read a book for fun, spend time with friends, or take a weekend road trip.

Today is World Ocean Day! At Linda Vista Adventist Elementary School, we believe immersing students to ecosystems directly improves academic achievement, boosts mental and physical well-being, and fosters critical thinking. By observing natural habitats, students develop strong problem-solving skills, learn about biodiversity, and cultivate a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship.
Stewardship and Civic Engagement
Eco -Literacy: Students understand how human actions directly impact the planet and learn about concepts like conservation and sustainability.
Active Participation: Practical experience often motivates students to take civic action, such as leading community cleanups or building school gardens. Lasting Values: Early exposure to ecosystems builds a lifelong respect for nature and wildlife.

Genesis 2:15 reads: “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and take care of it” (NIV)

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on a remarkable achievement! You have successfully navigated seasons of intense challenge, uncertainty, and growth. Your diploma represents more than just grades; it is a testament to your resilience, adaptability, and the unwavering dedication that got you to the finish line. As you step into this next chapter, keep these core principles in mind:
✨Embrace the unknown: You do not have to have your entire life figured out overnight. The most beautiful opportunities often come from unexpected pivots and unexplored paths.
✨Prioritize rest: Hustle culture is out; sustainable growth is in. Rest and self-care are essential tools for long-term success, not rewards you earn only after burning out.
✨Avoid comparison: Your journey is uniquely yours. Stay focused on your own lane, celebrate your personal milestones, and let your core values guide your decisions. The world is waiting for the distinct perspective, innovation, and voice that your generation brings to the table. Keep asking bold questions, stay curious, and be incredibly proud of the person you have become along the way.
Yours Truly,
Mrs. Dulce
