Today we held a celebration of life for my Aunt Lorraine. Big shout out to Ventura College for this wonderful post about her as a VC Hall of Famer (and still record holder in the 1500m). So cool to have her old Coach Tuck Mason, and teammate Nancy who became coach at VC join us.

Thanking God for President’s Week with days off that allowed me to drive down to watch my son Brandon’s game today. He just hit an absolute 💣 bomb. I feel blessed to have been able to see him hit like this throughout his life so far - only having missed one or two of his HRs. It is a testament to his outstanding work ethic and commitment as he puts in so so much into being a good athlete. I’m so proud of him!

Last night I got the opportunity to ref my first ever CIF Basketball game. For those who know me well, I’ve been battling a very serious Achilles tendon issue for more than a couple years now. This year I worked hard to get my running speed back up a little and to try to become a better ref. I still feel like I make more than a few mistakes, but it was nice to have my efforts to improve recognized and qualify as a “replacement ref” for this game which just happened to end in double overtime. Nevertheless, for a hardworking single guy, it was a Valentines night to remember 😉

💚 Celebrating Ms. Stephanie Green 💚 As we wrap up National School Counselors Week, we want to take a moment to celebrate our very own Ms. Stephanie Green, the heart of the Condor High School office. Steph goes above and beyond every single day to serve the academic counseling needs of all our Condor students. Her incredible work ethic, unwavering dedication, and heart of gold make a lasting impact on our school community. She is truly an amazing woman and an essential part of what makes Condor such a special place. We did our best to celebrate her throughout the week—but the truth is, Steph deserves to be celebrated all year long.
