🌟Thank you so much to Nyeland Promise and Ventura Citizens for Energy Independence for helping Oxnard Student Success extend help to the students of Southwinds this Saturday morning! 🌟

✏️100+ backpacks filled with supplies were distributed at Port of Hueneme & Southwinds Neighborhood food distribution!

Families of South Oxnard left with essential food and school supplies 📚🍓

🌟This weekend, Nyeland Promise and Oxnard Student Success hosted the 2nd annual School Supply Distribution. 🌟A total of 300+ backpacks were distributed to students in Nyeland Acres! Students received a backpack filled with grade-appropriate backpack school supplies in time for the first day of school. 🍓📚📝

🌟Este fin de semana, Nyeland Promise y Oxnard Student Success organizaron la segunda Distribución anual de Utiles Escolares. ¡Se distribuyó un total de 300+ mochilas a los estudiantes de Nyeland Acres! Los estudiantes recibieron una mochila llena de útiles escolares apropiados para su grado a tiempo para el primer día de clases. 🎒

Calling all high school juniors and seniors!!

Our essay contest is back! Submit a 1-page essay by 8/14/21 for your chance to win a new laptop!

Requirements:
• Must be a high school junior or senior in the 2021/2022 school year
• Must attend a high school in Oxnard, Ca.

Essay Prompt:
• Why is it important for you to have your own personal laptop?
• How will having a laptop help you achieve your goals?

Submission deadline is 8/14/21 and winners will be announced 8/18/21. Submit essays to [email protected]
