Ignite Martial Arts Students

Hello everyone,

Today I have some important news to share with all of you.

Twenty years ago, I started this martial arts school with a dream of creating a place where students could learn confidence, discipline, respect, and perseverance. Over the years, I have had the privilege of watching so many of you grow—not just as martial artists, but as people. Some of you started as young children and are now adults. Many of you have become like family to me.

After a great deal of thought and reflection, I have decided that the time has come for me to step into a new chapter of my life. I am gonna focus on my family and begin a new adventure with my baking business. I am officially passing the torch to Master Jonah Magness.

Master Magness has been my student since he was as 9 years old. He has been wanting to be an instructor and school owner since a young age. He already knows and loves this Ignite community.
This was not a decision I made lightly. I wanted to make sure the school would continue to thrive and that the values we have built together over the last 20 years would remain strong. I truly believe Jonah is the right person to carry this legacy forward. He has been part of this journey, and I have complete confidence in his ability to lead the school into the future. He is following his dream. He will be the most amazing School Owner.

I want each of you to know how grateful I am for your support, trust, and dedication throughout these twenty years. Whether you’ve been here for a few months or many years, you have helped make this school what it is today.

The lessons we’ve shared, the friendships we’ve built, the tournaments, belt tests, celebrations, and challenges—we’ve experienced them together, and those memories will always mean the world to me. I still remember my first white belt student, my first black belt, first World Champion, first masters. The memories are endless.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your martial arts journey for the past 20 years. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Please join me in welcoming Master Magness as the new owner and leader of our school’s next chapter.

A huge Congrats to Mr. Anthony Gose 3rd Degree Black Belt🎉🎓
Mr. Gose Graduated Westmont College Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Chemistry.

Mr. Gose started at Ignite Martial Arts in 2011. He is 3rd Degree Black Belt and he spent many years working as an Assistant Instructor and Floor Lead. Mr. Gose also has several Top 5 finished at the Tournament of Champions!

Success is not measured by the heights you reach, but by the depths you've conquered. Keep climbing, embracing the journey, and celebrating every step forward. Your resilience defines your ascent. 🏔️🌟
