So, what does the Dean's Discretionary Fund actually do?

Here are some ways we've utilized the fund in the past few years.
1. Students needed a larger table for group study sessions in the Sidley Lounge.
2. We provide Textbooks on Reserve for our 100 most popular classes at Miami - part of our dedication to affordability.
3. By focusing on accessible and sensory friendly design in our study spaces, we have increased the number of students who are using the Libraries.
4. We utilized this fund to help us purchase additional Chromebooks for our students.
5. We provide software checkout for items like the Adobe Suite, allowing students to rent access to complete projects without having to purchase expensive software.
