Holiday Party is Saturday, December 5th at Rick and Lorrie Samalot's home. The event starts at 4:30pm. Please join us for dinner and dessert. If plan on attending please bring hygiene items for underprivileged children. Look forward to seeing you all.

Hello ladies,

Elaine Jeffers (State Alumnae Chairman for California) is seeking 2-4 alumnae volunteers to assist at the premier screening of Operation Change – a 10-part documentary series about philanthropy and giving back. The documentary features our partner – the Starkey Hearing Foundation – as well as their founders – Bill and Tani Austin.

It will be held the evening of June 18th at the Paramount Studios in the Theater located on Melrose Ave in Los Angles/Hollywood. Volunteers need to arrive at 5:45 pm for orientation/assignments. This is expected to last until 10:00ish.

Dear Sisters, we’ve had another great year for the San Fernando Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Zeta.

We started off June 2013 with our Membership Drive Champaign and found it very rewarding and successful. We held 2 philanthropic events, our annual Nut Sale, which raised $100 and went towards the Painted Turtle Cap. The alumnae also collected personal grooming items and at our Holiday Party to make Hygiene Bags. They were later donated to a local organization that gives to low income elementary students.

With your continued support I know we can make the chapter even better.
