We’re here to serve you this week, but we could really use help with two things!

🚗 We need one more delivery driver for Monday afternoon! If you have a little time to help us get groceries to a neighbor who can’t make it to the Market, sign up at topss.org/volunteer.

🥫 We need FOOD! We can put just about anything you bring us to good use. This week we're looking for mac & cheese, pasta, and tuna.

🛒 Our schedule is the usual this week:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 10 am–6 pm
Friday & Saturday: 10 am–3 pm
Wednesday: CLOSED

Remember, the Market is open whenever we are! You don’t need an appointment or ID to receive food.

❤️ And welcome back, Miami students! We’re happy to have you back in Oxford and hope you have a great start to the semester! If you're looking for something to do or a place to get connected, sign up for a volunteer shift!

Have a great week, everyone! 😎

It’s Sunday, so you know what that means... time for your TOPSS Weekly Lineup! 💚

Here’s what’s happening this week:

📋 JFS is on the TOPSS campus this week! They’re pretty booked up this time around, so if you need help from JFS, call us at 513-523-5859 to schedule an appointment for the next time they’re here.

🍽️ Wednesday Night Community Dinner is at St. Mary’s Church this week! Dinner starts at 5:30 pm and, as always, it’s FREE and open to everyone. No strings attached. Just come eat!

🥫 We could use a little help keeping the Market stocked. This week, we especially need:
• Hamburger Helper
• Knorr Sides
• Canned vegetables like green beans and corn

If you’re able to grab a few extras while you’re shopping, we’d greatly appreciate it. And remember, we can put just about any food you bring us to good use!

🎒 And just like that... it’s back-to-school week! Wishing everyone a great first day and a great start to the school year! 😄

Have a great week, everyone! 💚

Share widely! This is a great community event for resources and needs, as well as reconnecting before school starts.

Happy Sunday! We hope you had a good weekend. We’re excited about the week ahead!

You do not need an appointment or ID to receive food. Please come see us if you need it!

We’re working to stock our shelves and are running especially low on canned vegetables, dinner mixes and sides, and soups. However, anything you bring us can be put to good use! We also accept fresh produce from your garden, hygiene products, baby items, and pet food. We appreciate every donation!

🍽️ This week’s free Wednesday night meal will be at the Lutheran church on Campus Avenue. All are welcome!

🎒 The Kiwanis Back to School Bash is next Sunday, August 16, at 5:30 p.m. at Oxford Community Park! There will be food, fun, and everything students need to head back to school. Come out and tell your friends!

Last but not least, we are only 9 followers away from reaching 2k! 🥳 We can't thank you enough for sharing our page and inviting folks 🙏 But now really twist someone's arm to follow us this week so we can stop asking 😅😆 Thanks everyone!

Have a great week! ❤️

🥛 Help keep fresh milk in the TOPSS Market!

When I first started working at TOPSS, I went to the grocery store every day we were open to buy milk for our shoppers. At the time, we served about 15 households a day, so that was manageable.

Today, we may serve 50 to 60 households in a single day. In fact, 65 households shopped in the TOPSS Market this past Saturday, and we served more than 90 households when our other services were included. My car has officially been relieved of milk duty😅 Now we get fresh milk delivered every Thursday.

For a family, a carton of milk means cereal before school, an ingredient needed to prepare a meal, and important nutrition for growing children. We want our neighbors to receive fresh milk with enough shelf life to actually use it.

Providing fresh milk costs TOPSS approximately $27,300 each year. That is why we are launching the Fresh Milk Club.

We are looking for caring people who will make a recurring monthly gift to help keep our cooler stocked all year long. Your gift does not have to be large. When our community gives together, even small monthly donations become a dependable supply of fresh milk for local families.

If you have been waiting for the right reason to begin supporting TOPSS, this is it!

🎉 It’s Grand Opening Week at TOPSS! 🎉

We can’t believe it’s finally here!

We’ll be operating our normal schedule all week except Friday. Instead of regular pantry and social service appointments, we’ll be celebrating our Grand Opening from 1:00–3:00 p.m.

Join us at 1:00 p.m. for a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony (about 10–15 minutes), or come anytime before 3 pm for our open house! We’d love to show you around our new building, share some food, visit with you, and celebrate this exciting milestone together.

Since you’re making the trip anyway, if you’d like to help us stock the shelves, we’re currently most in need of:

🥫 Canned vegetables
🍝 Pasta
🥣 Cereal

Also, don’t forget that our Free Community Dinner is Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church. Everyone is welcome!

Have a wonderful week, and we hope to see you Friday as we celebrate this exciting new chapter for TOPSS! 💚

We’re combining a few important updates, so read carefully. There’s something here for everyone!

First, a reminder that TOPSS is closed until Monday. If you need immediate assistance, call 211 or visit 211.org. You can also complete our assistance application at the top of our website (www.topss.org) to get the process started for rent or utility assistance.

Please remember that assistance is a process. It takes time to coordinate, which is why it’s so important to apply as soon as you know you need help instead of waiting until it’s an emergency.

Next, we’ve shared a list of cooling stations throughout Butler County to our fb page and story. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and check on your neighbors this weekend.

If you need help keeping your home cool, you may qualify for SELF’s Summer Crisis Program.

You may be eligible if your household income is at or below 175% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and your household includes someone who:
• Is age 60 or older
• Has a medical need for cooling documented by a physician
• Has received a disconnect notice, has already been disconnected, or needs to establish new electric service

You can contact SELF through the form at: https://selfhelps.org/hours-locate/

Last but not least, if you have a small, working window air conditioner you no longer need, we’d love to get it into the hands of a neighbor who does.

Small. Working. Window unit.

We do not need broken air conditioners. 😅 A lot of people already have those.

Donations can be dropped off NEXT week:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Friday and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Stay safe, everyone!

Here’s what’s happening at TOPSS this week!

Pantry and social services are available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Appointments are preferred because they help reduce wait times, but if you need food, don’t let that stop you! Appointments will take precedence, but walk-ins are welcome, and we’ll work you in as quickly as we can. We can also set up your next appointment while you’re here.

Curbside shopping is available Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. without an appointment.

We’ll be closed Wednesday for our regular office hours, but don’t forget the free Community Dinner at Oxford United Methodist at 5:30 p.m.

We’ll be closed Friday and Saturday in observance of Independence Day.

If you’re headed to the store, we’re especially in need of tuna, fresh produce, pasta, and tampons. Every donation helps support local families.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸💚
