Take a look at our Art 101 kids!!!!

If you have been following our page in recent months you will have seen that we are getting more and more students here to visit our new gallery. Not only is it great to have these young artists here to see Robert Henri's work but this is also the generation that in not too many years into the future will be carrying the work of our museum and gallery forward.

Yesterday, the art class from Southern Valley High School, (near Stamford, Nebraska) led by teacher Rebecca Jorgenson got a tour of our collection by our director. Our director has what we call the three painting quiz to which the students did quite well. To conclude, they all got their picture in what we here at the museum call "The Frame".

If you have a class of art students and would like a guided tour of our gallery please feel free to call us at 308-784-4343 and we will be glad to accomodate.

Next Friday, October 23, during the Blue Hill vs Southern Valley football game, the FFA will be hosting a food drive to help stock our local pantries. Anyone who brings 3 food items, will be admitted into the game FREE of admission. Each person who wants to enter the game for free, must have their own 3 items. For example, for a family of 3 to all enter for free, they would need a total of 9 food items.
