Dave and I took a quick 1500 mile drive down to Florida this weekend to see a rare bird from southwestern S America that got blown onto a beach near Pensacola. This Code 5 Grey Gull was located by our nephew Alex and he kept track of it for over 5 miles up and down the beach until we arrived from Indiana. What a great Life Bird for all of us! Thanks a bunch Alexander Hickey ❤️

GUYS. It's Chelsea. We have a wild bird at the Cincinnati zoo that may have a broken leg. I need the names and numbers of some local rehabbers ASAP.

Thought you guys would think this was funny, I was so excited to find an old pair of binoculars in my house. Went to use them, and couldn't figure out why the bottom caps didn't come off. Turns out it was a flask for birders! Good thing it wasn't filled when I put it up to my eyes!

Today was our last day :( All in agreement that we'll meet again at Crane Creek for future years of birds?

When I was practice birding today I heard a Starling trying its hardest to sound like a Song Sparrow. It actually wasn't that bad...

Hey guys, I just posted some of the better photos I took from the trip. I know some of them are pretty blurry but I'm not a very good photographer, but I tried nonetheless. The best pictures in there aren't even of birds.
