On this “Why Phi Chi Friday,” we are highlighting incoming Junior, Julia Waechter!

Julia is a marketing major from Beverly Hills, Michigan. Aside from PCT, she is a representative in Miami’s SAAC “Redhawk Council” and a member of Champions for Life Program. Oh, did we also mention Julia is a member and captain of Miami’s Swim and Dive Program?!👏🏊‍♀️ We have so much talent in our chapter!

Testimony from Julia:

“I joined PCT because of the welcoming people and opportunities along with it! Not only do I have a safe place to grow personally and professionally, but I also have brotherhood and a bond for life as a member!

I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself academically and professionally. I wanted to grow as a student and help prepare myself for life after Miami whatever that may be. PCT’s pillars drew me in immediately,

I was looking for that family feel group of people within Farmer who all shared similar goals and wanted to flourish together. I am so glad I am a member of PCT as I have met so many new people and feel like I have brotherhood like no other!”

Mia is an Accounting major from Cincinnati, Ohio who is interning at Ernst and Young (EY) this summer with a Launch Internship!

For those in the internship search Mia says, “Be patient, keep your options open, and remain optimistic throughout the process!”

We are so proud of you Mia! She will be featured next week with a day in her life at EY🙌
