Oxford Virtual Academy takes the distance out of distance learning by working in partnership with families to provide rigorous academic preparation that is teacher mentored, parent directed and customized to meet the needs of students from all academic backgrounds. In a stark departure from the traditional classroom setting, the Oxford Virtual Academy offers its students true interactive environments of project-based learning and collaborative problem solving. What a success! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community, the NHS Lighthouse Chapter’s hygiene drive is officially complete. We collected several bins of items, all of which are being donated to Oxford Open Handed!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and to our NHS members for organizing and running the drive. You’ve truly made a difference in our community. 💙✨

On May 27th , we officially welcomed our newest members into the OVA Lighthouse Chapter of the National Honor Society! 🎉✨
It was an evening filled with pride as these students crossed the stage to join our Lighthouse Chapter. Thank you to our Chapter President Oziel, our incredible Executive Board, and all the families who support our students. A special thank you to our advisor, Mr. Crane, for your years of dedication—we will miss you!

A new favorite has officially entered the lunch break rotation for our students! 🐟

This semester, students learned how to play Happy Salmon — a fast-paced game full of high fives, fish bumps, laughter, and nonstop energy. In just 90 seconds, players race to match cards, complete silly actions, and clear their deck first. Our students loved the activity and the opportunity to connect with one another!
