Congratulations to Cadet Karter Vahle on earning an appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA)!

One of our country's five service academies, located at Kings Point, New York. It prepares leaders for service in the maritime industry and the armed forces, with a strong emphasis on leadership and service to the nation.

Cadet Vahle consistently demonstrated the discipline, work ethic, and leadership expected of a Marine Corps JROTC cadet.

He has proven himself as a leader, he has remained committed to excellence , and he has always set the example for his fellow cadets.

Following graduation from the USMMA, Karter plans to pursue a commission as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

A big "Bravo Zulu" to a Future Naval Officer, Future Nurse and a proven leader!!!

Cadet Prashna Tamang has been accepted into the Navy Nurse Corps (NROTC Scholarship)—earning the opportunity to pursue a nursing degree and serve as a commissioned officer.

This took work. Real work—the kind that often goes unnoticed.

Cadet Captain Tamang represents what right looks like, and to say that we are proud does not cover it! Cheers to a long life of meaning Ma’am!
