It's been a busy week in the studio! Congratulations to the following piano students:
Brooks has completed Primer 1! He has learned about 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures, quarter notes, half notes, dotted half notes, and whole notes, and how to play songs in middle C position. I'm excited to spend the summer working through Primer 2 with Brooks.
Lavinia has completed Primer 3!
Kaylin has completed Primer 3!
Both of these young ladies have worked hard to earn the Primer 3 certificate, learning to play with hands together in C position, how to play held notes in the left hand while the right hand plays, and learning about quarter rests. We can't wait to jump into the next book!
Isabella has completed Primer 2! She earned her certificate a few weeks ago and is busily working through Primer 3. In Primer 2, Isabella learned how to read and play notes in C position, how to play out of position, and how to use finger-number clues to help find her starting position.
