The students are back, and campus is coming alive! 💚

The Miami University Student Chapter of TAPPI held its first meeting of the semester on Tuesday, and we were excited to welcome four of our alumni as special guests!

✨ Allie Filiatraut ('22) and Becca Wolf ('22) from Georgia-Pacific joined the meeting via Zoom to help students prepare for the upcoming recruiting events on September 15 and 16.

✨ Mason ('24) and Kate Schwartz ('24) also joined the meeting to share information about our mentoring program and the opportunities it provides for our students.

We are so excited to have students back on campus and getting into the swing of the semester! And, of course, we are always excited when our alumni return to Oxford to connect with and support our students. 🤍❤️

Thank you to our alumni for continuing to give back and help prepare the next generation of paper engineers for successful careers! 👏

TODAY is the day! Students are arriving on campus ... and as they unpack, you can give back!

The Paper Science & Engineering Foundation would love your support! We are raising funds to continue our work with students in the Paper Engineering program at Miami University. We are very proud of what we do here!

This year, we are welcoming back one of the LARGEST classes of Paper Engineering students! With current enrollment at 101 students, we expect that number to grow to approximately 125 students once freshmen enroll later this academic year. A larger class means supporting more students through scholarships, faculty support, and facilities improvements -- and that is where you come in.

If you make a gift of $65 or more during , you can choose one Miami-branded thank-you gift from our online storefront—including the next installment in our collectible Miami puzzle series (see below). Give $130 or more, and you can choose two. Advancement will send instructions for claiming your gift(s) after .

Thank YOU for your continued support!
