A brewery. A Miami professor. A room full of opinions.
That's how Spirited Conversations got started last week in Cincinnati.
Alumni joined Dr. Amanda McVety at MadTree Brewing to talk free speech, political dissent, and why a 1798 debate about criticizing the president still feels surprisingly relevant today.
The best part? The conversation didn't stop when the program ended. Stay tuned to see when Spirited Conversations is coming to a city near you!

Miamians had a busy week in NYC! The Inside New York cohort arrived to kick off their three-week immersive program, exploring careers in public relations, marketing, advertising, media, and more while connecting with industry leaders across the city.
To welcome them, more than 80 Miami alumni gathered at The Tailor Public House & Kitchen in Midtown Manhattan for a networking mixer. Alumni shared career insights and advice with these outstanding students as they begin their NYC experience and expand their professional networks.
Every summer, Miamians gather in Oxford for Alumni Weekend, but the spirit of the celebration reaches across the globe.
“I might live on the other side of the globe, but my Miami spirit is always with me,” says Mike Ulanski ’08, who now lives in Llíria, a historic Mediterranean city near Valencia, Spain.

Let's go RedHawks! Miami is the first school in MAC history to sweep both trophies in back-to-back years.

The RedHawks have been awarded the David Reese and Fred Jacoby Awards, recognizing overall athletic excellence in the Mid-American Conference. Miami is the first school in MAC history to sweep both trophies in back-to-back years.
