Dr. Jennifer Bulanda has an opportunity available for one undergraduate Sociology major to gain research experience by working on the research project described below. This is not a paid employment opportunity, but sociology majors are able to apply for Betty Kent Award funding through the Department of Sociology and Gerontology to support their research work. Research Project: "Health Care Policy Training among Pre-Medical Students in the U.S."
Project Description: This project examines the degree to which health care policy training is included in formal pre-medical curriculum or training programs at universities across the U.S. and, in institutions requiring or explicitly encouraging such training, what specific coursework is included.
