Brighton Area Schools has been generously volunteering their “pack” of comfort/therapy dogs along with their handlers at various locations throughout our district. They have even committed to raising funds for our district to be able to have our very own “pack of dogs”. Each therapy dog is approximately $10,000, most of which goes towards the training necessary for each dog to meet the social and emotional needs of the students.
We can’t thank Superintendent Outlaw, Pack of Dogs founder Karen Storey, fundraiser organizer Maria Gistinger and everyone in the Brighton community enough for their sincere kindness and generosity.
