A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of fishing with President Hodge and Professor Finch out on the Indiana Tailwater. Water was high, around a 3.6, but had a great morning nonetheless! Looking forward to more days like this in the fall!

Saturday April 2nd we will be taking a trip out to Brookville tailwater to get accustomed to the water and get a good sense of what works and what doesn't. Then, on Saturday April 16th President Hodge of Maimi, as well as Dean Myers of the Farmer School of Business, and Philosophy professor Chris King will join us again to Brookville! Stay posted for updates, and if you're interested in either of these trips send me a message or text me at 440 823 4142. Tight lines!

The official application has been put into the hub for Miami Fly Fishing! I have gotten very positive responses from some local fly shops in Indianapolis and Columbus who are willing to sell us discounted products and are willing to teach some classes on casting and fly tying if we make some weekend trips. I also have a contact at Gates Au Sable Lodge in Grayling, Michigan, who is willing to donate some equipment for us! I recommend you check out his website and give it a like on Facebook as well! http://www.gateslodge.com/

Welcome to Miami Fly Fishing! This will be the forum to post pictures, articles, fishing conditions etc. I have posted a few photos of my previous trips and catches but feel free to upload your own images here. I am in the process of applying for funding from Miami and hope to get a formal meeting in the next two weeks to set up a plan and check everyone's availability. If you have any friends who like fly fishing or want to learn more about it share this page with them. We could use all the members we can get to receive more attention from the school. In the mean time rip some lips!
