BSAA is the first multicultural organization on campus. BSAA members are diverse.
BSAA was formed by the African American students of Miami University to increase Black representation on campus for the purpose of bettering the conditions of Black students. BSAA hosts social, professional development, and advocacy events throughout the whole year such as the annual Homecoming Dance, Black Community Meetings, Highlighter Fundraising Party, Voices of Color, and the end of the year

All cans along with the toiletries collected at the holiday party were donated to the Oxford Community Choice Pantry
HUGE thank you to everyone that helped especially our org contest winners donating 467 cans along with and both contributing 400+ cans each!!!

Our Political Action Chair has issued a statement on behalf of BSAA to Miami Students and administrators in response to the recent acts of intolerance on campus. BSAA is a safe space for all students, as we can all attest to feeling lonely, underrepresented, or lacking a sense of belonging. In this tense and trying time, please feel free to reach out to BSAA and use us as a safe space!
