program. When they are closed we are closed.

Providing family and child centered developmental learning, where young children can build emotional, social and intellectual skills. We provide child centered developmental learning, where young children can build emotional, social and intellectual skills. At The Pumpkin Shell, parents are an integral part of their child's first formal educational experience. The program is available to 3 and 4 year old children (must be of age by December 1st). *Classes are held from 8:05-11am daily; You choose 3,4 or 5 days a week! Pumpkin Shell follows the Oxford School Calendar. Transportation to and from school is the responsibility of the parents.

Last week, our Pumpkin Shell family lost someone truly special. Kecia’s mom passed away, and while words can’t capture everything she meant to this program, we want to take a moment to honor her.

For years, Kecia and her mom have shown up for Pumpkin Shell in ways big and small — quietly, faithfully, and with so much heart. That kind of support doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from love, from believing in what a program like this means for kids and families, and from showing up again and again because it mattered to them.

Kecia, we are holding you close right now. Your mom’s presence lives on in every part of this community she helped shape — and we are endlessly grateful for the both of you.

Pumpkin Shell’s first summer program was absolutely amazing. The children had the best time being creative, meeting new friends, working together to problem solve, dancing, playing in the sunshine and we also made our own snacks😊 Now it’s time to look forward to what the school year has in store! We had a wonderful first day of summer program. We explored water play, building with blocks, painting and listened to a couple of books at snack time! So much fun had by all! Looking forward to tomorrow. We will be making Under the Sea squishy bags🪼🪸🐬🐙🐠🌊

What a month it has been at Pumpkin Shell! 🌟

We soaked up every single moment — from Mr. & Mrs. Wilcox coming in for one last story time read, to tie dying our custom shirts made by Third Day Tees Print Shop, celebrating all the dads for Father's Day, cooling off with the most delicious ice cream cake from Lindys Ice Cream Stop, blowing bubbles, and sending our little ones off in style at graduation. 🎓🍦👕🫧❤️
