Kramer Elementary School

Routes for Bus #67 are CANCELED for Friday 5/1/26 for BOTH AM & PM routes due to a shortage of bus drivers. This impacts THS, TMS, and Kramer students who ride Bus #67. Families will need to provide transportation today. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Kramer 4th-grade GRIT students have earned the title of Elementary State Champions in the Presidential AI Challenge. Chosen from more than 2,500 applicants, these students showcased their creativity, problem-solving, and innovation by applying artificial intelligence to meaningful local challenges.

This week, they interviewed with judges at the regional level.

The Presidential AI Challenge encourages students to explore how AI can solve real-world problems.

We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, curiosity, and forward-thinking mindset—they’re setting a powerful example of what young innovators can achieve.

TSD Families:

TSD will be on a 2 hour delay for Monday February 23, 2026 with NO AM Preschool or AM Kindergarten!

Update: Bus #52 REPLACED Bus #5 during the first month of school (this school year) due to a maintenance issue. Bus #52 is the permanent replacement for this school year.

TSD Families in the Kramer Attendance Area:

Bus #52 will be canceled for Friday, February 6th for both the morning and afternoon routes. This will impact students who ride Bus #52 at Kramer Elementary, TMS, and THS.

Parents of students who ride this bus will need to provide transportation tomorrow for their student/students.

The transportation company is experiencing a shortage of bus drivers and substitute bus drivers.

The district apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

The district is confident that we can transport students in the morning safely, but are very concerned about transportation home in the afternoon due to the predicted weather conditions. Talawanda Schools will be closed on Wednesday 1/28/26. Since this will be the district's sixth snow day, we will have remote learning for our students.

Inclement Weather & Frigid Temps- Update-Monday 5pm 12/15/25:
While the sun has helped today, we still have several roads/areas that are problematic for buses and teen drivers. We will check tomorrow morning to see if the roads have re-frozen, and if the questionable roads are safe for our buses, staff, teenage drivers, and families. If we need to delay or close we will share this information around 5AM (after we have checked the roads). We know everyone wants to get back to school, but we also know student and staff safety is critical! We are sorry that this may be inconvenient for families and their jobs.

Monday 12/15/25- TSD CLOSED

TSD will be CLOSED Monday 12/15/25 due to ice and very bad road conditions in rural areas of the district. Cold temperatures are creating tough driving conditions and road salt is not effective in extremely low temps.
