Appreciation Post #2

After Pack 14 Cub Scouts cleaned the playground this morning, we had 20 tons of playground rocks to move into place. We put out a call for volunteers… a big thank you to preschool dads Brad Freimuth, Brad Hillman, Justin Dorosh, John DeBlasio, Ben Bryan, and Zach Marchetti for raking and shoveling trillions upon trillions of tiny pebbles that help keep our kids safe on the playground. And also thank you to former preschool dad Steve Walsh from Walsh’s Country Store for delivering the rocks directly onto the playground. We truly have the best families! 💙🛝

A huge thank you to Oxford Cub Scouts Pack 14 for doing their annual cleanup of our playground this morning! They pulled weeds, cleared around the fence, disposed of any broken toys, and tested our equipment to make sure everything still worked! They do this each August for us before school starts and we are so appreciative of their time and hard work! 💙💙💙

Today we graduated the most amazing group of children from our pre-kindergarten program. They are ready for the journey ahead and prepared for all things kindergarten. They are smart, funny, kind, brave, and strong. We will miss you all and congratulations to the CCP Class of 2026! 🩵💙🎓

Yesterday, we celebrated our 3's program during their Recognition Ceremony. We are so proud of how far our littlest ones have come this year and we are excited to welcome them back next year to our 4's program. 🩷💙🩷💙

Let the tears flow... Yesterday, our pre-kindergarten program enjoyed a visit from the Quaker Farms School principal, Mrs. Cacace. She spoke with our students about kindergarten and got them very excited for big kid school. She read a funny book about the first day of kindergarten and answered all their questions! ("How many playgrounds are there? Can I bring a dessert with my lunch? Can I ride the bus? When is snack time?") Thank you again to Mrs. Cacace for her annual visits with us as we prepare to hand most of our students off to her and the QFS team in the coming days. Take care of our little humans! We will miss them terribly! 🩷🩵💚💜
