FRC 2137 The Oxford RoboCats finishes as District Finalists at Mason!

Team 2137 went undefeated at 12-0 during qualifying match play to finish ranked #1 overall and Alliance #1 captain. We invited FRC 7166, the Red Thunder from Laingsburg, MI as our first selections and together we invited FRC 8374, the Bongo Botz from Leslie. MI to complete our alliance team.

It was a roller coaster of a playoff run as Alliance #1 set a Mason event high score of 485 points on our way to the finals. Unfortunately, a few bumps in the road derailed the ultimate goal of winning the event, coming up short in the finale against Alliance #2. A tough lesson to learn, much like life, the world is going to throw you some curve balls and sometimes all you can do is learn and move forward. Big shout out to our students and mentors in the pits who worked hard to make last minute repairs on the fly to keep the robot running.

We want to thank our alliance partners FRC 7166 and FRC 8374 and look forward to hopefully seeing them again at the FIRST in Michigan State Championships in a few weeks at Saginaw Valley State University.

Lastly, TEAM 2137 also won the Autonomous Award for the second event this season! Truly proud of the work done so far this season, but so much more still left to do this season!
