For those attending the meeting in person, the meeting location is at Oxford Elementary School. This regular board meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Crews were able to repair the damaged fiber line, and internet connectivity to the district has been restored. We anticipate that school will take place as scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14.

Tonight’s Board of Education meeting will also take place as planned at 6:30 p.m. at Oxford Elementary School.

School cancellation messages were sent this morning by text, phone call, email and through the Oxford Go app. If you did not receive a message through one or more of these channels, please check your email’s spam or junk folder and make sure your contact information is current in PowerSchool. You can update your information through the PowerSchool Parent Portal or contact your building’s front office during school hours for assistance.

Oxford Community Schools is closed today, Tuesday, October 13, 2026, due to damage to the fiber optic cable serving the district. This damage has disrupted several essential district systems, affecting our ability to operate schools.

We anticipate that repairs will be completed today, but not in time for school to be held as scheduled.

Information and updates on afterschool and evening activities will be shared on social media and posted to our district website, https://oxfordschools.org.

🍂 Fall Fest 2026 was a huge success!

From pumpkin decorating and spooky-good bracelet making to posing for photos with Warrior the Wildcat, our OVA, Bridges, and LOFT students of all ages brought the best energy to the OEIC this past Friday! 🎃✨

A huge shoutout to everyone who helped make this day possible! From the festive decorations and candy to the games, crafts, and fall displays, so many people came together to make this event memorable for our students and families.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring the fun to life and to all the wonderful families who joined us for this autumn afternoon!

A great night to celebrate our incredible OCS staff!

More than 200 staff members joined us Friday for Staff Appreciation Night at the football game, giving us the opportunity to recognize the people who show up every day for our students and families.

And the Wildcats gave us plenty to celebrate on the field, too! Oxford pulled out a thrilling 15–14 win over Rochester Adams in a game that came down to the final moments. 🏈

Thank you to our incredible school custodians who work so hard each and every day!

Although they often work behind the scenes, our schools would not be the same without all that they do to keep our buildings clean, safe and welcoming for our students and staff.

Our OCS community has shared wonderful words of appreciation for our custodians, and we couldn’t agree more. We appreciate you!
