Interested in joining a choir at Miami—or just curious what it’s like? Come hang out with the Chamber Singers on Tuesday, April 8th from 1:15 to 2:35 PM in Presser 222.

You’ll get to sit in on our rehearsal, hear what we’re working on, and find out about all the choral opportunities Miami offers. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just curious, all are welcome!

If you are looking for something to do this Friday, Miami University Chamber Singers and Miami University Choraliers are having their annual "Candlelit Voices" collaborative holiday concert Friday December 6th: first performance starts at 7 PM, the second performance starts at 9 PM both are in Kumler Chapel.

🎵Meet our Fall 2024 Chamber Singers Treasurer and Secretary!

Kayla Hughes is a senior music education major with a minor in musical theater and has enjoyed her FIFTH semester singing with the Chamber Singers. This is her fourth semester happily serving as secretary & treasurer! She is also one of our student conductors for Chamber Singers! Outside of Chamber Singers, Kayla is a member of the MU Choraliers, MU Opera Content Manager, SNATS Chapter President, Oxford Methodist Church Choir Member, and is heavily involved within the MU Opera Productions. She has competed in the 2023 & 2024 Ohio NATS Competition, both times placing first within her division. She also just finished her first study abroad program with FIO MONDO where she studied opera & Italian for five weeks in Urbania, Italy and played the role of Lauretta in Puccini’s Gianni Schicci. She loves spending time with her friends and family while also watching films and reading :)
