NATIONAL CONVENTION RECAP💖✨
Earlier this month, Alpha Delta was honored to represent University of Mississippi at the 2026 Phi Mu National Convention through our Chapter President, Yussi Morales, VP of New Member Experience, Julia Cook, and our Sisterhood Day Chairwoman, Emily Deutsch. Let’s hear about their time💕
Yussi Morales • Chapter President
“Attending Phi Mu Convention was such a special reminder that Phi Mu is so much more than just four years in college. Being surrounded by women from chapters across the country and generations of alumnae made me realize that this sisterhood truly lasts a lifetime. I left feeling inspired, incredibly grateful to represent Alpha Delta, and even more excited about the future of our chapter. There really is nothing quite like being a Phi Mu, and I’m so thankful I got to experience it!”
Julia Cook • VP of New Member Experience
“Attending National Convention was such an incredible experience! I had the honor of serving as one of only eight pages for the National Council. Each National Council member selects one page to serve as her assistant throughout Convention. This gave me a firsthand look at the inner workings of our National Council while serving alongside incredible women and gaining an even deeper appreciation for all that Phi Mu stands for. I am so thankful for the friendships, memories, and lessons from my experience. One of my favorite parts was meeting women from Phi Mu chapters across the country and building friendships that I know will last a lifetime. I am so grateful for this unforgettable experience and for a sisterhood that continues to bless me with opportunities like this!”
Emily Deutsch • Sisterhood Day Chairwoman
“Having the privilege to attend the Phi Mu convention was amazing! I had the opportunity to connect with chapters across the country and discuss our love for Phi Mu that ties us all together! It was a honor to hear from a miracle family about CMN Hospitals and how Phi Mu supported them. It makes you realize that Phi Mu is bigger than the letters you represent. Phi Mu isn’t four years of your life, it’s a sisterhood that lasts forever and has a big impact on their community!”
