I would like to announce that I am retiring from teaching piano lessons. Thank you for your support.
As most of you know, I will be traveling for 5 weeks this fall to Italy and Greece. We are leaving August 28 and will not be returning till the end of September. The first lessons after I return will be on October 4.
Before I leave I hope to have everyone well on their way with music to practice while I am gone, especially for those who are preparing for the music festival in March.

Our summer recital is scheduled for Sunday, August 8, 2 pm, at the Oxford Community Arts Center. We will be saying good bye to Alysse Aylor who is off to DAP at the University of Cincinnati, and Samantha Jones who will be taking her senior year to focus on her art at Butler Tech. Please get there 10 to 15 minutes early and dress appropriately for a recital. There will be not reception, but hopefully we will resume these for our next recital.
We have a recital scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, August 2 at the Oxford Community Arts Center. This scheduling comes with certain guidelines:
1. Everyone who enters the building must wear a mask properly and keep it on.
2. Family groups will sit together in separate groupings.
3. I will wipe down the keys between performances as I do with my piano at home.
4. There will be no reception afterwards.
I am really excited to be able to do this recital since we missed the one in the spring and I thank the OCAC for allowing this to happen.
Thanks also to Antonietta Roden and Samantha Jones for continuing to practice and take Zoom lessons during this time.
