A Positive Light Has Left This World 🦋

Today, we join so many others in remembering the incomparable Dolly Parton. 🤍

Dolly was so much more than an entertainer. She was a woman who showed the world that you could be strong and kind, successful and humble, confident in who you are and still make room to lift others along the way.

She brought joy to generations, but perhaps her greatest legacy will be the way she used her success to give back—to children, families, communities, and people who simply needed someone to believe in them.

At Rebel Rush, we talk so much about sisterhood, supporting other women, finding confidence in who you are, and leaving things a little better than you found them. Dolly embodied so much of that.

The world feels a little less bright today, but what a beautiful legacy of faith, laughter, generosity, determination, and kindness she leaves behind. ✨

Rest peacefully, Dolly. Thank you for reminding generations of women that you can dream big, stay true to yourself, and still have a heart for others. 🩷

📚❤️💙 HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, REBELS❤️💙📚

A new semester at Ole Miss officially begins! Whether you're walking onto campus for the very first time or heading into your final year, today is the beginning of another chapter of your Ole Miss story.

To all of the incredible young women we had the privilege of walking alongside during recruitment: you did it! 🥹 Now the real adventure begins.

Our Rebel Rush advice for this semester:

✨ Say yes to new opportunities.
🤍 Get involved and meet people outside your comfort zone.
📚 Remember why you're here—your education comes first!
💕 Give yourself grace while you adjust.
🏛️ And soak it ALL in. These years go by much faster than you think.

We hope your first day is filled with new friends, familiar faces, great professors, and that unmistakable feeling of being HOME at Ole Miss.

POV: When Rebel Rush grows enough that you have to recruit your own daughter. 😂❤️💙

🎶 “You are now my elite employee…”

Last year, Helena was along for the ride. This year? She has officially been promoted to **Rebel Rush team member, co-host, content creator, recruitment commentator…and apparently my elite employee.** 😂

And I have to say, having her beside me this recruitment season has made it SO much more fun.

From the early-morning walks down Sorority Row to late-night videos, recruitment advice, Facebook Lives, Bid Day coverage and everything in between — **Rebel Rush has officially become a mother-daughter adventure.** 🥹

Helena…welcome to the team. Your compensation package includes coffee, Oxford trips, questionable sleep schedules and unlimited time with your mother. 😂
